Welcome to the Jungle Costa Rica Retreat 4/13

The Yoga, Meditation, and Slow Your Asana Down For A Week of Your Life Spring Tour with Kim Stetz and *Special Guests.
13 April 2013, - 19 April 2013:  7 days/6 nights

Overview
The natural progression of integrating creativity with health is what Kim loves to share with her friends, clients, students and anyone who sees that we are all creative and unique. By slowing down we just may get a chance to glimpse at our true self in tune with nature, and have an opportunity to recognize and transform habits or patterns that no longer serve you creating space for healing, laughter and love.

The Sanctuary at Two Rivers is a mystical, other-worldly place to sincerely merge with All That Is!  A retreat center like no other.  Expect your mind to open to long forgotten possibilities in a place specifically cultivated to hold space for spiritual and creative practices.  Experience this incredible property featuring mid-century modern tree house, jungle-luxury accommodations, a yoga deck designed after a traditional Japanese Pagoda with a tropical modern twist, and waterfalls that will blow your mind.

Daily Schedule
Our retreat will begin on Saturday, April 13 with a slow flow yoga class followed by a welcome dinner.  The next five mornings will include sunrise meditation at 7:00 and yoga from 7:30 – 8:50 followed by some of the most delicious and healthy breakfasts you have ever tasted.
From approximately 10am-2pm each day, there will be a variety of river hikes to stunning waterfalls, the spectacular beach and ocean, optional surfing, zip-line, and trips to the charming, bohemian town of Montezuma.
For local excursions click here.

Organic vegetarian lunch will be served promptly at 2pm (except for those off premises on an extensive surf excursion, or choosing to remain at the beach all day).  The lunch on this retreat will be the "main meal" of the day.  These meals will be healthy and gratifying in every sense of the word.
From approximately 3-5pm there is time for reading, journaling, relaxing at the pool, receiving a massage or other bodywork. The Sanctuary boasts an incredible lap pool and healing center to revive oneself after a very active day.

Silence is a virtue. It allows one to hear/listen more clearly within oneself. During the week we will all partake in this noble practice for an entire day.

*All food is organic, free range, and healthy whole food. :-)

Travel Information
  • Fly to San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO).  For those in the NYC area, United Airlines has flights from Newark (EWR) and American and Jetblue have options through JFK.
  • Then take a connecting flight to Puerto Jimenez. Please check out www.flysansa.com to book your flights on-line.  From USA you can easily call SANSA for reservations: 1-877-767-2672. Please note that calling may be easier as sometimes their website has a challenge loading. The customer service is very helpful when calling to make a reservation. The other option would be to take Nature Air www.natureair.com at another airport, Pavas, which is 30 minutes from SJO.
  • You must leave 2 hours to make the flight change in both directions for customs.
  • Please make sure to book your flights as soon as possible as availability and airfares are very good right now.  It will be more challenging to book as we get closer to the end of the year.
  • If for some reason you would like to spend the night in San Jose prior to traveling to Tambor that is also an option.
  • Ground transportation from Tambor to the retreat center will be shared amongst those arriving together.  The rate for up to 4 people is $50. If more than 5 people arriving at the same time, it is $10 per person in a mini van.
  • Once we have your flight information we can arrange for the ground transportation in Tambor.
  • Note: There is a $28 airport tax when you leave the country, paid by cash or credit card.
  • *ATMs are not reliable, please bring cash or traveler’s checks.
  • THIS TRIP could be the TRIP OF YOUR LIFETIME!  Well worth the travel to get there!  We promise.
